Improved heat transfer:
When measured against austenitic stainless steel, Duplex 2205 shows greater thermal conductivity along with a smaller coefficient of thermal expansion. Such properties make these materials valuable in applications that call for lessened thermal strain and expansion.
It is low cost: Even with the elevated upfront material expenses, the added strength and stability of Duplex 2205 can lead to an extended service life and lower maintenance costs. On top of that, thinner power consumption walls can reduce material expenses in certain situations.
Anti-dehydration and fatigue properties: Duplex 2205 provides superior resistance to corrosion and fatigue when compared with ordinary austenitic stainless steel, which makes it well suited for high-stress settings and applications involving varying pressures and temperatures
